What next?
Last Friday morning the news started sinking in that the UK had voted to leave the EU. Whatever side you were on, I think it is fair to say it was a huge shock to everyone.
Nearly a week has now passed and the shock is starting to wear off, and people are starting to plan their futures.
People are now asking us what they should do. Many were planning to make a permanent move to Spain in the next few years, and now, they are nervous that they could be leaving it too late.
The truth is that nobody knows at the moment what is going to happen, the only thing that is certain at the moment is, as the English ambassador to Spain has confirmed, everything will remain the same for the next two years at least.
So if you were planning on coming anyway, you have at least two years to get your residencia sorted, and get yourself established into the Spanish system.
